Use ChatRoom with ChatGPT

1. Start ChatRoom and confirm the MCP endpoint is reachable:

https://your-domain.example/mcp

2. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings and enable Developer mode.
3. Open Settings → Apps → Create. From workspace administration, use Workspace settings → Apps → Create.
4. Set the app name to ChatRoom.
5. Enter the ChatRoom MCP endpoint.
6. Select OAuth authentication.
7. Click Scan tools.
8. On the ChatRoom authorization page, enter the ownerToken from ~/.chatroom/config.json and click Authorize.
9. When tool scanning finishes, click Create.
10. Start a new chat and select ChatRoom from the Tools menu, or mention @ChatRoom in the prompt.
